The Census Bureau is Hiring in Pennsylvania

Minimize

The Census Bureau will hire thousands of people around the nation to conduct the 2010 Census.  Five Early Local Census Offices located in Erie, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Scranton are currently recruiting management, office and field staff.

Additional Local Census Offices (LCO) will open in late 2008 and begin hiring in early 2009.   The majority of temporary LCOs will open in late 2009 with peak hiring occurring in the spring of 2010.  Open positions in Pennsylvania are being advertised through the Philadelphia Regional Office and are listed on their website at http://www.census.gov/regions/philadelphia/
