Welcome to Census 2010 Pennsylvania

The U.S. Census is a count of everyone residing in the United States: in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Island Areas.  A census is mandated by the U.S. Constitution in order to determine each state's Congressional representation.  The numbers also affect funding in your community and help inform decision makers about how your community is changing.

As the Commonwealth's official liaison to the Census Bureau, the Pennsylvania State Data Center (PaSDC) encourages you to learn more about the importance of the Census, to become involved in preparing for the 2010 Census and to fill out your census form on April 1, 2010.

If you have questions or concerns regarding the content found on this website, please contact the PaSDC by phone at 717-948-6336 or by email at PaSDC@psu.edu.
